This is my first piece of tumblr hate mail! I wish this person had elaborated a bit, but alas, such is the nature of hate mail. always leaves the recipient wanting more.

Today I am super psyched to share my interview with Ruth Oppenheim-Rothschild,
aka Robin Hustle. Among her many talents, Ruth is a writer, painter,
ceramicist and registered nurse, and we covered topics including
self-education, eroticism in art, work/life balance and much more. Check
it out on iTunes (for free) or at mindkiller.podbean.com (also free).
good morning friends! My Valentines gift to you is an interview with the supremely powerful jeweler and musician Stephany Colunga. Hear her describe the epiphany that led her to connect with her father’s family in Mexico and much much more! http://mindkiller.podbean.com or iTunes
More gouache experimentation-this time im painting the line work over
the color rather than superimposing the black line line over the color
layer in Photoshop…ive been steadily drawing pages for my next book
but have been waffling on how to color-i think this might be the way.
This page is in progress-still needs panel borders and lettering.
It’s

Gah thank you SO much! I just want this podcast to be a security blanket for people-not in the sense that we don’t cover difficult subject matter, but that it’s a safe space for artists to talk about whatever’s on their mind with no judgment in a thoughtful atmosphere, as an antidote to all the chaos and obsession with instant gratification and branding in the culture at large. The fact that you’re enjoying it means the world to me!!! Getting ready to do a new interview in a few minutes.
This week on my podcast Mindkiller, supremely skilled cartoonist Mike Centeno shares his thought on self-publishing zines, growing up in Caracas, Venezuela, fighting a life-threatening illness and much more. Don’t miss this one! http://mindkiller.podbean.com/
